Located in the west of the island, the beach of Tazacorte belongs to the beaches where you can almost guarantee nice weather. Idyllic to look at with its colorful houses and seafood restaurants on the boulevard, Tazacorte attracts many tourists and locals every day. The sheltered beach bay promises safe swimming pleasure. The sandy beach usually runs right into the water, so you can easily get into the sea, especially useful for older swimmers. The beach promenade is well developed and you can easily walk to the port of Tazacorte. Dogs are allowed on the left side of the beach. In the summer months the beach visitors can also hire pedal boats, canoes, etc. The right part of the beach is guarded by lifeguards until 6 p.m.

In 2017 there was an increasing jellyfish alarm. Reason was the appearance of the so-called Portuguese warship, which belongs to the genus of soap bubbles. Despite all the beauty, caution is required regarding the Portuguese warship, because the tentacles, which are up to 30 cm long, are very poisonous. The presence of the jellyfish is indicated by a flag.

Tazacorte has ample free parking, even in high season. During the summer months it is also possible to park in the dry riverbed. Pay attention to the surface.

From the Los Llanos bus station, take the 27/29 or 110 line to the Tazacorte beach. Here you will find the corresponding timetable.
